In this video, Brad demonstrates two examples showing how to integrate all four STEM strands (science, technology, engineering, and math) into an empowering activity. He illustrates a workable definition of STEM instruction that uses grade level content as tools students use to engineer a solution to a problem. He also shows what he calls the "STEM Instructional Cycle" that uses brain-based learning to engage students in deep critical thinking.
