Students create and use spreadsheets to analyze data involving the landing of a spacecraft on another planet. This is a true STEM activity incorporating the science of physics, the technology of spreadsheets, the engineering of the cone-shaped parachute, and the mathematics of algebra and geometry. Adaptations allow use with beginning or experienced students. It can be done with Google Sheets, Excel, or Numbers.
